Tickets are now on sale for the annual Greater Manlius Chamber of Commerce Spring Dinner Auction, which will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at Traditions at The Links in East Syracuse.
The Spring Dinner Auction is held annually to benefit the Greater Manlius Chamber of Commerce, Heaven’s Pantry in Minoa and the F-M Community Outreach and Food Pantry. Hundreds of items that have been donated by local businesses and organizations will be auctioned in a silent auction, and a live auction will be held following dinner.
Tickets for the event are $48 per ticket or $485 for a corporate table of eight seats. The event begins at 5 p.m. with a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres, dinner stations at 6:30 p.m. and a live auction at 7:30 p.m. Live music for the dinner auction will be provided by local singer-songwriter Greg Hoover, and appetizers and dinner is included for each ticket.
All guests that bring in a non-perishable food item to benefit F-M Community Outreach and Heaven’s Pantry in Minoa will be entered into a raffle to win a gift basket.
Two surprise guests will be on hand to help auction some of the live auction items. A special live auction item will benefit Clear Path for Veterans.
“The committee is working hard to make this our best year yet. We will be having the appetizers and silent auction in the beautiful newly renovated bar area of Traditions at the Links. The dinner and live auction will be held in the ballroom,” said Marcia Philipp, chair of the dinner auction committee.
Some of the live auction items include: a Citizen Eco-Drive watch with chronograph and tachymeter, donated by Manlius Jewelry and Repair; a hot air balloon ride donated by Airborne Adventures; dinner for eight at Grover’s Table in Fayetteville in their private dining room which includes four courses paired with wine; a catered lunch for up to 10 people delivered to your office, donated by Carrabba’s; a specialized Expedition Sport Bike from Bike Loft East donated by Beaudette Construction Retail; and a Brewster Inn boat cruise that includes a two-hour cruise on Cazenovia Lake with a captain and a gourmet cheese tray, donated by OMC Financial Services.
