And it proved successful for the girls Bees, who blanked the Redhawks 3-0 at Green Acres Bowl with steady performances from its top three bowlers.
Amelia Ponto shot a 578 series, with a high game of 211. Jenna Speich’s 201 game led to a three-game total of 537 as Jenna Hierzholer had a 534 set, helped by a 195 game. Kara Fredenburg led Central Square with a 510 series.
In the boys match, B’ville dropped a close 2-1 decision to the Redhawks, even though Dylan Williams shot a 609 series with a high game of 214.
Dylan Love, with a 580 series and no game worse than 196, beat out a 574 series from Eric Hildreth as Dawson Bigtree had a three-game total of 519.
Central Square, who improved to 3-0 this season, featured a 256 games and 660 series from Dimitri Queior and a 246 game and 614 series from Kevin Radziseski.
The Bees would take on Oswego in Tuesday’s home opener at B’ville Sports Bowl before a Friday trip to Lakeview Lanes to face Fulton.
