Onondaga County reelects Mulroy for County Family Court

Incumbent Republican Onondaga County Family Court Judge Martha E. Mulroy held onto her seat following  an unopposed race, with a final tally of over 99 percent of the vote.

Mulroy has served in this position since 2006. Judges of New York Family Courts serve terms of 10 years.

“I have never been prouder to be on the ticket that I was on this year,” said Mulroy. “I am proud to continue to serve in the Onondaga County Family Court.”

According to her biography, from 2007 to 2014, Mulroy presided over and determined child welfare matters, including abuse and neglect, juvenile delinquency, support, custody and visitation, PINS, paternity and adoptions.

Beginning in 2012, Mulroy has been an Onondaga County Acting Supreme Court Judge. From 2012 to 2014, Martha presided over the Integrated Domestic Violence Court and since 2014 she presides over the Dedicated Matrimonial Part.

She received her B.S. from Pace University and earned her M.S. and J.D. from Syracuse University.

A native of Marcellus, Mulroy has been married to her spouse, Dr. David Manfred, for 37 years.
