LIVERPOOL — Each month, the Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce ARM (Ambassadors/Recognition/Membership) team will nominate member businesses in a specific category, based on chamber and community involvement.
Nominations will be announced on the first Member Monday each month. Nominees will receive a congratulatory certificate from the chamber, and the winning business will be determined by a community vote on the chamber website. This enables not only chamber members to vote but gives each business the opportunity to promote their nomination and encourage their customers to vote as well.
The business who receives the most votes on the chamber website will be announced via Facebook Live and become the Chamber Business of the Month. The winning business will be featured in a press release in the Star-Review; recognized at an exclusive Facebook Live event and in the chamber newsletter; and will have a business card-sized ad in the chamber section of the Star-Review.
Nominees were chosen with the following criteria: current paid member, involvement in the chamber (big way or small way —showing up counts), and community involvement.
March is Women’s History Month. There are over 30 women-owned or co-owned businesses in the Liverpool Chamber membership. The ARM committee has nominated the following female entrepreneurs:
- Barb Stone – Build Your Own Path
- Casey Rose Frank – Golden Bee Book Shop
- Eileen Collins – Admin on Call
- Gwen McCarroll – Gwen’s Helping Hands
- Kaleigh Ligoci and Lauren Scarpelli – Sugar Blossom Bake Shop
- Laura Harrington – Liverpool Chiropractic
- Laura Pantaleo – Gentle Touch Electrolysis
- Lisa Ecklund – Business and personal Transformation
- Nancy Aureli – Community Living Advocates
- Robin Pinkert – Logos and Images Anywhere
- Sally Santangelo – Santangelo’s Restaurant
- Sandra Cirrincione – Generation Electrical Supply & Lighting
The community is asked to vote for their favorite women-owned business by visiting liverpoolchamber.com and clicking on the Current Events tab.
The winner will be announced live at 11 a.m. on the first Monday in April on the Liverpool Chamber Facebook page.
