Wildcats place three runners in the top 15, finish second overall
The Cazenovia College Women’s Cross Country team earned a runner-up finish at the 2017 NEAC Cross Country Championship Meet held at SUNY Morrisville on Saturday, Oct. 28.
The Wildcats were led by freshman Maddy Godfrey’s fourth place finishing time of 26:00, as well as fellow freshman Aliana Hart who finished eighth overall with a time of 26:57. Brooke Newton turned in an outstanding time of 28:13 for a 14th place finish. Morgan Roy finished 23rd with a time of 29:10 and Annie Loh finished 29th with a time of 29:59.
Cazenovia placed behind Penn State Berks and ahead of defending champion SUNY Cobleskill. Two Wildcats placed in the top 10, a total of three runners placed in the top 15, and a total of five runners placed in the top 30 overall.
