Carousel Center’s annual holiday gift wrapping program begins today, Nov. 30.
“Wrapsody” is staffed by volunteers from Vera House, Hope for Bereaved and The National Council of Negro Women. The volunteers will set up at two locations: on the first level near Lord & Taylor, and on the second level near Macy’s.
Since its first holiday season in 1990, Carousel Center has provided space for volunteer groups to create awareness for their causes and raise funds through wrapping gifts for Carousel Center shoppers. In 1995, Vera House and Hope for Bereaved partnered with The National Council of Negro Women to collectively form “Wrapsody.” The three associations have worked since then to wrap thousands of gifts for shoppers.
Wrapsody’s gift wrapping service last through Christmas Eve and run during Carousel Center’s holiday hours.
