The Commander of the Cazenovia American Legion Post 88, John Colligan, and the Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 113, Ron Davies, invite the community to attend a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 11 at Memorial Park on Albany Street, Cazenovia.

The focus will be on all the men and women who have served their country in the Armed Forces.

“This commemoration gives us the opportunity not only to thank our veterans but also to recognize that many of our current military personnel are serving in harm’s way.”

Prior to the ceremony, Matt Judge, proprietor of Dave’s Diner at Common Grounds, is offering free coffee to all veterans. After the ceremony, veterans and their families are invited to the American Legion Post Home on Chenango Street for a luncheon, compliments of the Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 88.
