Cicero — Holiday music will be featured in a performance from the group Musical Eclectics at NOPL @ North Syracuse. The concert, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, in the library’s Community Room.
Musical Eclectics brings together soprano Marci Perini-Bowers and pianist David Sabin. Both are classically trained musicians and have entertained audiences for more than 10 years. This concert will feature carols like “O Tannenbaum” mixed with popular holiday favorites such as “Silver Bells” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”
At NOPL @ Cicero, the duo Merry Mischief will arrive as Santa and Mrs. Claus to entertain all with an evening of holiday music at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17.
Merry Mischief combines the voices of Harry, an Irish tenor and guitarist, with that of Merlyn, a natural alto who plays a variety of instruments. The acoustic duo will sing a variety of holiday songs, interspersed with humor and, of course, mischief! Admission is free and sponsored by the Friends of the Cicero Library.
