Prizes will be awarded considering the first entry to arrive and the most complete entries. Partial submissions are accepted.
The deadline is 12 a.m. Monday, May 31. Send your answers and selfies to [email protected]. One submission per family; you must present identification to claim prizes.

Part One: Solve the riddles below
Hints: Parks in the village of North Syracuse (Centerville Park, Goettel Park, Heritage Park, Kennedy Park, Lonergan Park, Memorial Park, Toll Road Park, Veterans Memorial)
Clue 1: Around and around and around we go, where it lands, nobody knows! In this park where frisbees fly by your feet, what’s the number of the furthest “basket” from Chestnut Street?
Clue 2: They was a-splishing and a-splashing, reeling with the feeling, moving and a-grooving, rocking and a-rolling. At this park where many people bathe in the heat, what’s the total number of park benches where you can watch from your seat?
Clue 3: An apple a day keeps the doctor away…In this favorite village park that was named after a popular North Syracuse physician, who is the sole park bench dedicated to without suspicion?
Clue 4: Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Up and down the hills we go! In this popular park that winter knows best, which direction do you face when you are on top of the highest hill, and put to the test? North, south, east or west?
Clue 5: Many trees are planted to honor those we love. But don’t take these trees for granted, they may watch you from above. While some live across from the library, others live across the street. But the most important question is, what’s the total number of trees?
Clue 6: Hickory, dickory, dock, the names go up the clock. At 12:15 the clock will point to the scene that was painted by someone quite keen. What is the name of the artist?
Clue 7: On the old plank road they hauled many a load, for the new transportation was the first in the nation, the old plank road. This park sign notes the year the last toll was paid on the historic plank road that ran from Syracuse to Central Square — what was the year?
Clue 8: Oh beautiful for heroes proved, in liberating strife. Who more than self, their country loved, and mercy more than life? In this corner park that honors those who served, which branch plaque of the armed forces is in the center of the herd?
Part Two: Selfies
The task is to find each of the six landmarks (Clues 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14) and take a selfie with each one. Send your riddle answers and selfies to [email protected].
