The Silverwood Clarinet Choir has formed a quintet and quartet for an outdoor public performance on Sept 12. To ensure a safe event, Silverwood will provide a venue with over 40 spaces for family units spaced 20 feet apart.
“We all want to enjoy live performances in a safe manner after months of isolation,” the choir stated in a press release.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, snack and beverage. To help ensure safety, reservations are required for this concert; so reserve a socially spaced family spot. Face masks are required when moving around the grounds for everyone’s protections. Music will include Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Grieg, Handel, Bizet and on the lighter side, “I Did It My Way,” “Habanera,” “The Pink Panther,” and Gershwin’s Summertime. Guest vocal soloist is John Saltamach, a member of the Phoenix Community Band and his seven-piece club band, “Menage A Soul.”
