Operation Base Camp

Our virtual six-week summer camp, Operation Base Camp, kicked off June 29. Operation Base Camp will be posted on our Facebook page and website every Monday morning.

Follow us at facebook.com/CiceroRecreation/ or cicero.recdesk.com to get the kids moving, crafting, and learning! There is no fee for this program and parents will receive a week’s worth of kid-friendly crafts (with video instruction), activities, story time, camper challenges, and activity pages that can be done at home.

OBC will follow this format:

• Move-it Mondays are designed to get the kids outside and moving.

• Make-it Tuesday and Thursdays offer simple craft ideas using supplies that you probably already have at home.

• Wednesdays are Camper Challenge Days featuring ideas like making Solar S’mores, a Soda Bottle Sprinkler, and more.

• Fridays 10 a.m. we offer a Creature Feature story time highlighting insects and animals we find right in our backyards. This is a Zoom story time that is free but does requires registration.
