Jeffrey and Melinda Bechaz of Clayton, New York, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanne Lucille Bechaz, to Kyle Atkinson, son of Victor and Christine Atkinson of Baldwinsville.
Joanne is a 2014 graduate of Thousand Islands High School, Clayton, and a 2017 graduate of Clarkson University, Potsdam, with a bachelor’s degree of science in biology. She is currently employed by Samaritan Medical Center and plans to further her education to become a physician’s assistant.
Kyle is a 2013 graduate of C.W. Baker High School, Baldwinsville, and a 2017 graduate of Clarkson University, Potsdam, with a bachelor’s degree of science in electrical engineering. He is currently employed by Proven Energy Systems in Hammond, New York.
Joanne is the granddaughter of the late Gary and Evelyn Johnson, Donald and LouAnne Bechaz, and Shirley and Ernest Pitcher. Kyle is the grandson of David and Treva Bush and Albert and Fran Atkinson.
A fall 2018 wedding is planned.
