As we all adjust our minds to start another new month, it a good day to talk about news to do with calendars at the Liverpool Public library.
We’re giving and taking 12-month calendars for 2017.
Let’s start with what you can do. If you have any extra 2017 calendars already hanging around your house, you can bring them to the LPL. Place then in the well-labeled box in our lobby. If that’s full, you can bring them to the reference desk.
The calendars will be picked up by a woman with a great heart. She’ll distribute them to nursing homes and hospitals in the area.
We’re collecting 2017 calendars until Jan. 10.
And starting today, we’ll giving to patrons for free a copy of the 2017 Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor Calendar.
The photographs highlighted for each month are the winners from this year’s Erie Canalway photo contest, which drew more than 300 pictures from 117 photographers.
I’ve leafed through the calendars. The judges have selected outstanding images.
The calendars will be available at the circulation desk. Only one copy per family, please.
