Looking for something fun to do at home this winter? The Baldwinsville Public Library has fun, free events for all ages!
For all ages
• Story Times: 10 a.m. Wednesdays on Facebook Live (beginning Jan. 28).
• Crafts at Home Kits: You can pick up a kit at the library filled with the supplies you’ll need to do an all-ages craft at home. Instructions are included in the kit, or you can follow along with video instructions on our Facebook page the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
For kids in grades 4-6
Second Monday Club to Go: We’ll post video instructions for activities and crafts geared towards kids in grades 4-6 on our Facebook page at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of the month. You can register for a kit filled with the supplies you’ll need for the month’s activity by visiting the library’s website or giving the library a call at 315-635-5631. Future activities include candle making and making squishy key chains.
For teens
Join us every Wednesday at 6 p.m. on Facebook for Teen Life Hacks Online. These programs are activities and crafts designed specifically for anyone ages 13-19. You can register for a kit filled with the supplies you’ll need each week on the library’s website or by giving us a call at 315-635-5631. Future activities include creating gemstone bath bombs and embroidery hoop clocks.
For teens and adults
Current or aspiring writer? We’ve got something just for you at 7 p.m. each Monday and Tuesday. Join us on Zoom Monday nights for our Weekly Wordsmith Word Sprints or Tuesday nights for our Weekly Writing Meeting. Register through the library to receive a link to our Zoom meetings each week.
Teens and adults alike are welcome to join our Dungeons & Dragons group, which meets via Zoom and Discord the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Register with the library for the links to our virtual campaigns.
For adults
Brown Bag Book Club takes place at noon on the second Wednesday of the month. Grab your lunch and join us on Zoom. Register with the library to receive the Zoom link.
For those who would rather brunch than lunch, Books for Breakfast Book Club takes place at 9:30 a.m. the third Tuesday of the month. February’s book will be “Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption” by Bryan Stephenson. Register with the library to reserve your copy of the book and receive the Zoom link.

Our popular Cardmaking program is still happening via Facebook Live at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Register with the library to receive a kit of the materials you’ll need to get you started creating beautiful cards.
