Robert L. Post, 102, of Amber, passed away at home with his caregivers by his side on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022.
Born in Syracuse to the late Caroline and Robert Post.
He was a partner in business for Tool and Dye at WestVale Engineering. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army Air Corps and a member of Amber Congregational Church since 1953.
He was predeceased by his wife Bertha in 1995.
Bob leaves behind his nieces Carol McPherson of Florida, Cathy Bomberger of Indiana, Barbra Rydelek of Baldwinsville and nephew Carl Burkett of St. George, Utah, and numerous great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his faithful caregivers Donna and Craig Gilmore and their extended family. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Jan. 29 at the Amber Congregational Church, 2366 Otisco Valley Rd. Marietta.
