BALDWINSVILLE — While the November general election tends to get the most fanfare, election season isn’t quite over yet in New York State. Residents of fire districts will select their representatives for their respective board of fire commissioners next Tuesday, Dec. 13.
The greater Baldwinsville area includes several fire districts: Belgium Cold Springs, Cody, Lakeside, North West (Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Co. and Lysander Fire Department), Phoenix (Enterprise Fire Co.), Plainville, Seneca River and Warners Memphis.
If you don’t know which fire district you live in, look at your Onondaga County tax bill or search your address on the county’s real property tax website, ocfintax.ongov.net/imate/search.aspx/.
The polls will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. except where noted.
