The Lysander town clerk’s office has received its allotment of federal duck stamps for sale. Duck stamps serve as hunting licenses and conservation tools. The stamps are popular collector items and also serve as an entrance pass for national wildlife refuges where admission is charged. Hunters over the age of 16 must purchase a federal duck stamp each year if they want to hunt migratory waterfowl.
The cost for each duck stamp is $26. The stamps are available for sale during office hours, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The town clerk’s office is located at 8220 Loop Road, Baldwinsville.
