Area police blotters for the week of April 29 to May 6

Cazenovia Police Department

 

Arrests:

Zachary T. Brooks, 19, of Lowville, was arrested May 1 and charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree.

Theodore G. Vaas, 56, of New Woodstock, was arrested May 1 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, and ticketed for no license and equipment violation: exhaust system.

Aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree: 1

Disobeying traffic control device: 2

Driver’s view obstructed: 1

No/inadequate muffler: 1

Uninspected motor vehicle: 1

Unlicensed operator: 1

Unregistered motor vehicle: 2

Unregistered trailer: 1

 

Police Chief Michael Hayes encourages any residents with information concerning ongoing investigations or other crime tips to call the Cazenovia Police Department at 655-3276. Leave a message if an officer does not answer the phone. All calls and tips will remain confidential.

Arrests:

Timothy D. Webber, 20, of Oswego, was arrested May 3 in Nelson and charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree.
