Driver’s Village donates to local fire and rescue crews

They perform vital services when we need them most, and that’s why Driver’s Village recently made donations to local fire and rescue crews. Roger Burdick, president of Driver’s Village, presented $5,000 donations to the Cicero Fire Department, the North Syracuse Fire Department and the North Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

The hardworking first responders who serve in these units have endured the enormous stress of responding to emergencies throughout the pandemic. 

Each program supports the families in the northern suburbs where Driver’s Village operates its sales and service dealerships. 

“These departments are always there for us and our customers, so it seemed like the least we could do to help them,” Burdick said.

The donations will help these vital first responders with operational costs, and with securing necessary personal protection equipment (PPE) as the pandemic continues to affect the community.
