SKARTS announces funding for 2017 grants
The Skaneateles Area Arts Council is pleased to announce its 2017 arts funding
opportunities for interested individuals and groups that live, or hold events in, the
Skaneateles area, defined as within a fifteen mile radius surrounding the village of
Skaneateles. The deadline for applications is May 31, 2017. Applications are
available on the SKARTS website, SKARTS.org.
The original and two copies should be printed and mailed to SKARTS, P.O.Box
422, Skaneateles, NY 13152.
“SKARTS takes great pride in being able to award $5000 in grants this year.” said
Gail van der Linde, Coordinator of SKARTS’ Grants Committee.
To date, SKARTS has issued 80 grants to individual artists, arts organizations,
choral groups, museums, schools, theaters, and other community non-profit
organizations, committed to a pursuit of all arts, since the program was begun in
2006.
