From movies and music to trick-or-treating and escape rooms, the Northern Onondaga Public Library (NOPL) has special Halloween events for all ages this year:
Musical Eclectics
6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at NOPL @ North Syracuse
Singer Marci Perini-Bowers and pianist David Sabin will be at the library for a lively concert featuring Halloween music. This performance is for teens and adults.
Howl-O-Ween
11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at NOPL @ Cicero
The Go Team Therapy Dogs will be here in their costumes, and they invite you to wear yours too. There will be Halloween activities and a screening of the movie “Hocus Pocus.”
Teen Advisory Board Halloween Party
1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at NOPL @ North Syracuse
The Teen Advisory Board is celebrating Halloween this year with food, games and scary movies — plus there will be prizes for best costume. For grades seven through 12. Registration required; call 458-6184 or visit nopl.org.
Team Sgarlata Halloween Safety Course
2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at NOPL @ Cicero

Trick or Treat at the Library

Get a treat when you stop by the reference desk in your costume.
Escape the Library!
3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at NOPL @ Cicero
This is a Halloween-themed escape game for kids and grown-ups to play together. Find clues, open locks, and gather treats along the way. The puzzles are suited to elementary-ages and up, and the game will take most groups 45 minutes to solve. Register by calling 699-2032 or visiting nopl.org.
