The Skaneateles Village Board of Trustees voted to approve its annual resolution with committee and other appointments at a reorganizational meeting held Monday, April 7. Mayor Marty Hubbard makes the appointments, with the approval of the village board.
The resolution included the liaison duties for the trustees, some of which have changed.
Jim Lanning will be the liaison for the fire department, Marc Angelillo will be the liaison for the police department and municipal operations. Carol Stokes-Cawley, will be the liaison to the zoning and planning boards and the Historical Landmarks Preservation Commission. Sue Jones will be the liaison for the tree committee, chamber of commerce and community organizations. The liaisons to the joint comprehensive plan review committee will be Stokes-Cawley and planning board member Doug Sutherland.
Other appointments:
Danielle Cerimeli was hired to be the new deputy clerk/treasurer.
Walter Blackler was re-appointed for a three-year term on the municipal board.
Doug Sutherland was re-appointed for a five-year term on the planning board. To fill the vacancy left by Carol Stokes-Cawley (who has is now a village trustee) Brian Carvalho was appointed to the planning board for a two-year term.
Curt Coville was appointed for a five-year term on the zoning board of appeals.
Gary Trenti was appointed to a three-year term on the cemetery board.
Bernie Van Derveer was appointed to a five-year term on the housing authority.
Lisa Riordan, Katherine Dyson, Ted Kinder, Chad Rogers and Dave Birchenough were all re-appointed for a one-year term on the Historical Landmarks Preservation Commission.
Ann Neibert, Nancy Easter and Richard Westover were all re-appointed to a one-year term on the tree committee.
