Manlius Police responded to a complaint of armed robbery at The Wild Orchid in Manlius earlier today.
Police said Christopher Maimone, 30, of 14 Edgewood Pkwy., Fayetteville, walked into the flower shop at around noon, showed a knife and demanded money before fleeing from the store with no cash in hand. No customers or employees were injured.
The suspect was later identified and found at his home, where he was taken into custody without incident, police said.
Maimone is charged with first-degree attempted robbery, a felony, and fourth-degree possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned before Manlius Village Justice William Barrett and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center with bail set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bail bond.
Maimone is set to reappear in court at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21.
