Jeff Hunt, a crew member on the vessel Emita II, serves desserts to guests during the Baldwinsville Public Library’s second annual Seneca River Boat Cruise held July 7, 2011. This year’s library cruise will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 12. This is a fundraiser for the library and was sold out last year. Tickets are $45 each and are available at the library. The cruise is the kick-off event for the Rotary Club of Baldwinsville’s Seneca River Days on July 13 and 14. This Mid-Lakes Navigation cruise will depart from Dutchman’s Landing. Entertainment on board will be provided by Larry Serafini of Serafini’s Little Big Band, playing the guitar and ukulele. Desserts by Dawn Custer of Canal Walk Café will be served. There will be a drawing for door prizes from local businesses, which are being donated by the library trustees and director. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to support the library’s art gallery improvements. For tickets, call 635-5631.
