Restaurant Impossible crews were back at McShane’s Restaurant in DeWitt on Tuesday.
Food Network chef Robert Irvine, host of the show, held no punches when dealing with McShane’s in the first visit to the restaurant. They filmed last summer and the show aired in November.
Irvine called the restaurant, at the corner of Molloy Road and Kinne Street, the most “horrendous place” he had ever faced as host of the show which performs make-overs on failing restaurants.
But crews were back in town Tuesday. They declined media coverage prior to the visit, as well at the set, however sources say the show was filming an update on the business. Publicists for the show could not comment on the filming, nor when the show may air.
Chef Robert Irvine alluded to being on town on Twitter, suggesting he had worked out at Golds Gym in DeWitt.
