Training for volunteers at From the Ground Up Therapeutic Horsemanship in New Woodstock will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.
There is particular need for volunteers to help staff the Special Olympic Equestrians 8-week training period. Lessons are currently running Tuesday through Friday in the early afternoons and evenings.
The stable is located at Mystic Mountain Farm, 2130 Webber Road, New Woodstock.
One lesson training per year is mandatory for lesson volunteers. Volunteers must be 14 years of age.
