Beating three more foes, the Fayetteville-Manlius girls golf team made it 13-0 on the season, inching closer to regular-season perfection.
The Hornets’ win streak hit 11 in a row at Hickory Hills when it registered a 147-160 victory over Baldwinsville, paced by Alex Seabury, who shot 32, just one over par.
Close behind Seabury, Jillian Fraccola shot a 34, while Sarah Peck earned a 40. Lindsey Simmons, with a 41, and Sara Simons, with a 45, were close behind.
Back home at Butternut Creek Friday for a three-way match against Liverpool and Auburn, the Hornets set three personal records and shot 147 to beat the Warriors (163) and Maroons (178) and stay perfect.
Fraccola set one personal course mark, blazing to a nine-hole total of 31. Simmons did the same, with a 36, as Simons joined the record-breaking spirit with a 44. Peck and Elizabeth Barr each had rounds of 44, too, as Ali Wakefield contributed a 36. Liverpool’s Morgan Yoder (33) and Auburn’s Megan Cahill (36) played well, too.
All that stands between the Hornets and an unbeaten mark for 2007 are matches this week against B’ville and Nottingham.
