CAZENOVIA — After a long hiatus, the Cazenovia Garden Club will once again host its Spring Flower Sale.
The sale will be held on Saturday, June 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Cazenovia Farmers’ Market.
The market is located on the Village Green in front of the high school and between Emory and Green streets.
The sale is traditionally held on a weekday in Cannon/Memorial Park on Albany Street.
“We hope this change in location and day means we can meet with more of you,” said Miriam Weber, who co-chairs the Spring Garden Sale with fellow club member Roseanne Courtade.
The garden club’s last spring sale, which was held in May 2019, featured both annual and perennial plants.
This year, the club is selling perennial plants grown from members’ gardens. The 40-plus varieties include plants for shade gardens and sunny gardens, as well as plants that tolerate a mixture of both sun and shade.
According to Weber, the sale will also include “bits and pieces,” or quality garden-related items, such as tools, floral prints, gardening books, pots, and garden sculptures.
“Come look at the club’s window display on 59 Albany St. to get an idea what is being offered for sale,” Weber said.
Proceeds from the spring sale will help fund the town’s beautification.
