Jane Monheit and Gap Mangione will headline at the Catherine Cummings Theatre in Cazenovia
The 15th Annual AmeriCU Jazz-N-Caz (with a blues twist) will serve up another year of jazz and blues performances in Cazenovia Sept. 15 through 17.
The Carolyn Kelly Blues Band will kick off the line-up on Thursday evening with live music on the Brae Loch Inn lawn. On Friday night in the theatre, blues musician Frank Corso will lead off the evening. Headliner Jane Monheit, the highly noted vocalist-musician, will follow with selections from the American songbook. The Seven Stone Steps at the Lincklaen House will host Jazz After Hours.
Gap Mangione and the New Big Band will cap off the weekend’s entertainment in the theatre on Saturday. Included will be the Jimmy Van Heusen Jazz Break, with local artists performing the songs of Caz alumnus Jimmy Van Heusen. A late-night Jazz After Hours gathering at the Seven Stone Steps will conclude the festivities.
The AmeriCU Jazz-N-Caz weekend is free and open to the public, however, a $10 donation is suggested for performances held in the theatre.
