Cazenovia — 2015 wraps up at the Cazenovia Public Library with two events — the movie “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” on Dec. 30 and Jenna Wright-Martin’s popular “Noon Year’s Eve” party on Dec. 31.
“Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” — 1 and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30
CIA chief Hunley, who argues that the Impossible Mission Force is too reckless, convinces a Senate committee to disband them. Ethan Hunt, a key member of the IMF, is now on his own and goes after a shadowy and deadly rogue organization called the Syndicate. With deadly complex games of intrigue in play, Hunt and his team must take even more risk with difficult options to protect the world.
“Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” is rated PG-13 and runs for 131 minutes. As always, admission and popcorn are free.
Noon Year’s Eve — 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31
Can’t stay up late on New Year’s Eve? Children ages three and older with their families are invited to join Jenna Wright-Martin in the library community room for a “Noon Year’s Eve” celebration that will feature books, crafts, music and dancing as well as a balloon drop at noon to celebrate the arrival of 2016. Light refreshments will be served.
