On Sunday, Oct. 16, the Cazenovia High School Drama Club will present “A Musical Feast,” an evening of Broadway songs coupled with an Italian meal. The 5 p.m. dinner will take place at St. James Church, 6 Green St., Cazenovia and will feature Drama Club students performing a variety of Broadway show tunes. Along with the entertainment, an Italian meal will be served, featuring pasta and chicken dishes with Italian desserts, catered by Dave’s Diner. There will also be raffles for gift baskets and the opportunity to “Sponsor a Costume” for this year’s show.
This will be the second time the club has hosted a fundraising dinner, which benefits the drama club’s spring musical production. The annual musicals are primarily funded by ticket sales. Expenses involved in producing a musical include royalty and rental fees, scenery, set construction, costumes and props.
Dinner tickets can be purchased for $20 dollars each from any drama club member or at Cazenovia High School. If you are unable to attend, but still wish to donate, cash donations can be sent to the “Sponsor a Costume” fund, Cazenovia High School Drama Club at Cazenovia High School. Costume donations are divided into two levels: Blue $30 and Gold $50. Costume sponsors will have their names printed in the show program.
