At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, the Cazenovia High School Music Department will present “Cazenovia in Concert” at the John H. Mulroy Civic Center. The concert will feature 182 students in grades 9 through 12. Eight different music ensembles will perform a wide variety repertoire, representing various musical styles. The concert will culminate in an exciting choral, band and orchestra finale, “When You Believe,” from the popular movie “Prince of Egypt.”
“Cazenovia in Concert” was established in the late 1970s and has taken place every other year for nearly four decades, providing a rare opportunity to see all of the high school band, orchestra and choral ensembles in one concert.
Tickets for “Cazenovia in Concert” are $7 each and may be purchased from any high school music student or by calling 655-5332. Tickets will also be available at the door. Bus transportation from the high school to the Civic Center will be provided for those who prefer not to drive at the cost of $2 per person.
