With another week of success, the Westhill boys golf team would secure top honors in the Onondaga High School League Liberty division.
Already 7-0 going into last Monday’s clash with Christian Brothers Academy at Drumlins, the Warriors leaned on its deep roster to pull in front and defeat the Brothers 201-206.
Anthony Maglisco’s team-best 38 trailed CBA’s Joe Nicholson (37) by a stroke, while Dan Angelo matched Maglisco with a 38 for the Brothers.
However, the Warriors surged ahead with the next four best totals. Aidan Ryan shot a 39, with Luke Gilmartin getting a 40 as Devin Young and Michael Britt both posted 42.
