Meanwhile, Fayetteville-Manlius found it difficult to keep up with Liverpool in last Wednesday’s three-team meet that also featured Henninger at LHS Stadium.
The F-M girls handled the Black Knights 125-15, only to fall 79-62 to the Warriors, who had also finished ahead of them in a 1-2 effort during the April 26 Chittenango Invitational.
Claire Walters still had a tremendous meet for the F-M girls, starting with her helping Susan Bansbach, Maddy Duggleby and Phoebe White as the Hornets tore to a time of 9:38.7 in the 4×800 relay.
In the 1,500-meter run, Walters roared to a victory in a season-best 4:39.6, following it up with an 800-meter title in 2:19.1 and, to cap it off, a win in the 3,000-meter run in 10:06.7.

The CBA boys toppled Marcellus 82-55 with Jaden Buckingham first in the 100 in 12.0 seconds and the 200 in 24.4 seconds, Buckingham also helping the Brothers’ 4×100 relay team prevail in 48.0 seconds.
