Each of the Baldwinsville bowling teams would enjoy the advantage of home lanes against tough Salt City Athletic Conference Metro division opponents.
The Bees hosted Liverpool at B’ville Sports Bowl last Tuesday afternoon, and in the boys match the Bees proved successful, pulling out a 2-1 decision over the Warriors.
Tanner Rozycko paced B’ville, with a 604 series that included a 225 high game. Chris Forbes’ 217 game was part of a 567 set as Dylan Williams got a 558 series (205 high game) and Dylan Love had a three-game total of 527, with a 193 game mixed in.
Liverpool’s girls topped B’ville with a 563 series from Danielle Maher and a 508 series from Dailyn McCarthy. In response, the Bees’ Brooke Flask shot a 214 game in her 543 set, with Jennifer Kratz getting a 435 series and Jenna Hierholzer a 424 series.
B’ville went to Green Lakes Lanes on Thursday, where the boys team lost 3-0 to Fayetteville-Manlius. Jarod Napiorkowski had a 565 series, with Rozycko (516 series) just ahead of Forbes (511 series), while the Hornets got a 672 series from John Buonfiglio and a 617 series from Isaac Blanford.
The girls Bees also took a 3-0 defeat to F-M, with Flask getting a 441 series and Kratz adding a 422 series, The Hornets’ Lydia Chase got a 590 series and 212 high game.
With last Friday’s match against West Genesee snowed out, B’ville would go to Oswego Monday, then take on F-M again Tuesday, this time on home lanes, and then go to Strike-N-Spare Lanes Wednesday to face Cicero-North Syracuse – three matches in three days.
