Baldwinsville began its week by taking on Auburn last Monday, and the boys Bees improved to 2-1 on the season, putting together a 3-0 shutout of the Maroons.
Colin Ponto shot a high game of 235, with Tanner Rozycko earning a 219 game. Tanner Mento gained a 200 game as Jarod Napiorkowski (188 high game) and Dylan Williams (184 high game) also competed well.
In the girls match, B’ville fell to Auburn 3-0, with Brooke Flask shooting a high game of 151.Amelia Ponto had a 146 game as Madison Haas and Hannah Pinard both had top games of 145.
Back home at B’ville Sports Bowl on Wednesday afternoon, the Bees took on Cortland, and swept both sides of that match, with the boys Bees shutting out the Purple Tigers 3-0.
Again leading his side, Colin Ponto put up a 632 series that included a 233 high game. The best game belonged to Chris Forbes, who had a 235 as Napiorkowski recorded a 220 and Williams had a 199.
Though the girls match was closer, B’ville topped Cortland 2-1, led by Flask, whose 195 game led to a 529 series.
Elsewhere, Amelia Ponto had a 500 series (182 high game) as Jennifer Kratz put up a 207 game during her 432 set and Pinard managed a 467 series. The Purple Tigers’ Taylor Cullip, with a 508 series, edged teammates Holly Vallese (498 series) and Calista VanEpps (496 series).
A tough match for both B’ville sides would take place Tuesday at Bowl-Mor Lanes against East Syracuse Minoa before a trip to Central Square on Thursday afternoon.
