Each of the girls golf teams from Cicero-North Syracuse and Liverpool were charged with the same task at different points last week, but neither could knock off undefeated, CNY Counties League-leading Fayetteville-Manlius.
When it resumed action last Tuesday on its home course, Liverpool had the first opportunity to test F-M , but never got close to it in a 169-214 defeat to the Hornets.

Then it was C-NS’s turn on Thursday afternoon, only it had to travel to Green Lakes, and here F-M handled the Northstars 189-222 to go with the 172-199 win it gained at Northern Pines against the Northstars on April 20.
Morgan Siechen had a 51 in the rematch. Nessa McKie, with a 56, beat out Mackenzie Cole (57) and Alex Adano (58), but none of them could keep up with F-M’s leaders as Kingsley shot a 42, six shots ahead of Campbell Kennedy, with Bonomo adding a 49 and Wallace a 50.
