Mayor Bill Brazill, who ran unopposed, and trustees Eric Christensen and John Abbott, who faced competition for their seats, will all be returning to the Minoa Village Board following the delayed election last week.
Originally, the elections were to be held in March, but were postponed until Sept. 15 due to the pandemic.
Vote totals were as follows:
Mayor
– Bill Brazill – 402 votes
Trustee (vote for two)
– John Abbott – 359 votes
– Eric Christensen – 250 votes
– Bobby Schepp – 203 votes
– Matthew Cushing – 38 votes
Although Cushing remained on the ballot, he was ineligible for election because he moved out of the village after the ballots were finalized in the spring.
Mayor and trustee positions each carry a four-year term. About one vote in every eight was cast by absentee ballot.
