CAZENOVIA — The Caz COVID Response team has partnered with Community Resources for Independent Seniors (CRIS), Common Grounds, Cazenovia High School Business Leadership students, Project CAFE, and a team of volunteers to create a support network to help people secure vaccination appointments.
The initiative was launched in response to a growing concern that many Cazenovia community members who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are having trouble navigating the online registration process.
Seniors (ages 65 and older) in need of assistance can call CRIS at (315) 655-5743 and leave their names and phone numbers. The support team will contact them to help facilitate their registration. In the future, the team hopes to provide a similar service to those under the age of 65.
