Beauchamp Historial Club, Baldwinsville’ historical club, has local history talks every other month from September – May at the VanBuren Town Hall Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. The club’s November talk was held Nov. 8, a day after Election Day. The speaker was Steve McMahon and the subject was “A Mysterious True Crime from Baldwinsville’s Distant Past.”
The club has various speakers through the season and its next talk is Jan. 2 by Kate Kisselstein (daughter of our village historian Bonnie.) The subject is “Gateways to the New World” about how our ancestors flowed into ports beyond Ellis Island.
