DEWITT — Paige’s Butterfly Run, Inc., is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 7th Annual Pedaling 4 Paige. Proceeds from the event help fund local pediatric cancer research and patient programs at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse.
The spinning event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Elevate Fitness located at 5791 Widewaters Parkway in DeWitt. Participants can register online at runsignup.com/p4p2022 to ride as individuals or form a team to ride for one or more hours.
There will be four 1-hour spinning sessions each led by an instructor. With only 29 bikes each session, there is a total of 116 spots for all ages and levels.
Instructors and time slots are scheduled as follows:
• Patty Johnston: 9 to 10 a.m.
• Joy Rinaldi: 10 to 11 a.m.
• Michelle Pendergast Romano: 11 a.m. to noon
• Diane Sorbello: Noon to 1 p.m.
There is a virtual event option to give those unable to attend the in-person event the opportunity to be a part of the fun. As a virtual rider, participants have the flexibility to complete their 1-hour spin session at their convenience during the official virtual period from Saturday, March 26, to Saturday, April 2. It can be done anywhere using an indoor spinning bike, outside on a bicycle, or even at a gym!
Registration for the 7th Annual Pedaling 4 Paige is open to the public at runsignup.com/p4p2022. It is $25 to participate either in person or virtually. There is a minimum fundraising donation of $50 per hour ridden in addition to the one-time registration fee.
“Pedaling 4 Paige is a great way to raise support for local children fighting cancer and get a good workout in,” said Myia Hill, executive director. “We are grateful for the continued partnership with Elevate Fitness. If you are unable to join us in person on March 26, you can still be a part of the fun by signing up to participate virtually.”
