School budgets can be complex and confusing, and there are many factors that impact what is presented to voters each May.
That is why the Liverpool Central School District is hosting a community budget forum to help residents understand just what goes into creating the annual school budget.
The LCSD Community Budget Forum will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the Liverpool High School Senior Lounge.
Topics will include the district’s strategic plan, challenges and responses, student enrollment and the New York State tax cap.
The forum will provide Liverpool students, parents, community members and business owners with helpful information regarding the upcoming 2017-18 budget. Attendees also will have the chance to ask questions and make comments at the end of the presentation.
