HumaneCNY will host its annual Drop-a-Thon and Silent Auction from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the shelter, 4915 W. Taft Road, Liverpool.
There will be nearly 200 silent auction items (plus a Buy Now option to take the items home), baked goods, music and pet products available, such as flea treatment, dog soap, light-up leashes and collars, pet bowls, winter coats and holiday costumes. It’s never too early to buy for the holidays.
And, doggone it, TK99s Rick Deyulio has done it again! He’s gotten himself locked into a dog crate (with lots of food, water and TLC) at HumaneCNY during the event and needs your help to get released. Stop by and give him a head scratch or a belly rub during the event, and better yet, donate towards his release. He won’t be allowed to hightail it home until he raises at least $1,000 to help homeless dogs and cats.
HumaneCNY appreciates any donation of canned dog food (they bark for Pedigree), canned cat food (they meow for Friskies), cat litter, laundry detergent, trash bags, dish soap and bleach are always needed.
Monetary donations are always cheerfully accepted, as HumaneCNY is a not-for-profit organization that receives neither public funding nor support from any national organization.
