To the editor:
On behalf of the DeWitt Advisory Conservation Commission (DACC) and the Jamesville Positive Action Committee (JamPac), I would like to thank all of the people who participated in our annual fall clean up on Saturday, Sept. 30. Those participants included: David Rezak and the Green Team from BNY Mellon; Chris Manchester; Kerin Rigney; Karen Keast; Joe Chiarenza; Jack Dooling; Sue Fleming; the Geisler family; the Hjort family; Miranda Wasilenko; Bill Cotterill; Sue Payne; Ann Stevens; Gordon Heisler; Brian Solomon; the Town of DeWitt Highway Department; and the great Robbie Thompson. In spite of cool and wet conditions, people did an excellent job of collecting litter from the sides of roads throughout the town of DeWitt.
We always need more people to volunteer than turn out to help. Please consider working with us during our spring clean up, in April.
