To the editor and all members of the community:
The Board of Trustees, the Friends and the staff of the Cazenovia Public Library are very proud and pleased to have received the first Library of the Year Award, given by CLRC — the Central New York Library Resources Council, a resource and support organization for all libraries in the region. The award was based on input from the community — not quantity of input, but quality of input. It is because of the direct letters of nomination from this community that our library received this award. Thank you to you all.
The library is a thriving resource in the community because of the support from the greater community, through the volunteers, donations, participation, suggestions and, not least of all, many meaningful collaborations. We are honored to receive this award, and to share it with all of the community who help make the library the special place it is.
