To the editor:
The Greater Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the businesses and people who contributed in making the Dec. 6 annual tree lighting a success.
A big thank you to our event sponsors: State Farm Insurance – Lindsy Luu, Horan Companies, Seneca Savings, Northeast Entertainment, Fulton Savings Bank and Self-Direct.
We also appreciate the generous support and participation from the B’ville Diner, Cam’s Pizzeria, Tabatha’s, Jack Baker of Baker Real Estate, Boy Scout troops 80 and 114, Mojo Tune comprised of Tom Cuskey and Mary Jane Heinz, B’ville artist Jackie Colello, Ray and Nedra Byrne and the village of Baldwinsville.
Kudos to the Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Company for its inaugural Holiday Parade of Lights that also included the Phoenix Fire Department, the Belgium Cold-Springs Fire Department and the Camillus Fire Department. The fire trucks were decorated beautifully and the fire volunteers’ enthusiasm to delight and engage the residents of Baldwinsville were unparalleled. Thank you for making the evening one to remember!
Another thank you to the Baldwinsville Police Department for arranging two escorts to lead and follow the horse and wagon rides through the scenic village streets.
The GBCC decided to change it up this year by keeping all event activities outdoors and, aside from the parade, contained to Baldwin Canal Square. We encourage residents to provide us feedback as we consider how to move forward with next year’s event. Contact us by phone at 638-0550 or by email at [email protected].
