The Northern Onondaga Public Library (NOPL) has recently launched a new service called Shelf Help. While the library doors are closed for browsing, cardholders can now sign up for personalized bundles containing up to five items, based on their preferences.
Our experts will help you find your new favorite book or movie using your interests, likes, and dislikes. The service is free, and enrollment can be done online, by phone, or using our printed form supplied by request. You can complete either the book/audiobook request, movie/TV show request, or both. Please fill out a separate form for each person in your family who needs recommendations.
Once enrolled, a librarian will review your responses and make personalized suggestions. We will contact you for approval of the recommended items and get everything ready for curbside pickup.
Shelf Help is a one-time service but can continue by request. Visit nopl.org/ShelfHelp to enroll or call your nearest NOPL Branch to get started: North Syracuse, 315-458-6184; Brewerton, 315-676-7484; Cicero, 315-699-2032.
