You’ll find the sheets with the heart on it at the customer service desks in the Liverpool Public Library, and on our website and social media.
We want patrons to tell us what they love about their library.
The plan is to compile a list of what we do right for this year’s New York Library Association Library Advocacy Day. That’s the time set aside by NYLA for those library advocates from across New York state to meet in Albany to tell their representatives why funding is important.
Events include a rally and meetings in the legislature. NYLA representatives will compile and hand out packets to library advocates that arrive for the event.
LPL Director Glenna Wisniewski will be among those visiting Albany to attend the event. She’ll bring with her comments from patrons revealing what they like best about the LPL to show the officials she meets.
Testimonials mean a lot as they figure out where state aid will go.
If you can’t find the time to visit the LPL on the corner of Tulip and Second streets in the Village of Liverpool before NYLA Advocacy Day on Wednesday, Feb. 28, you can leave your comment on the post with the heart-shaped photo poster on our Facebook page (facebook.com/LiverpoolPublicLibrary). Please provide your first name.
