The Friends of NOPL @ Cicero are looking forward to their favorite fundraiser of the year — the 31st annual Ice Cream Social! Sundaes are $1.50 and feature vanilla ice cream with your choice of chocolate sauce, sprinkles, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries. Stop by from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2 and enjoy a sundae with family and friends.
At NOPL @ Brewerton, the Friends group is preparing for their annual Used Book Sale. The Friends will host a pre-sale from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 9. The pre-sale admission is $5. The regular sale runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 10 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 11. Saturday, the last day of the sale, will end the fundraiser with a “bag-sale” with items priced at $5 a bag (bags are provided).
Through their fundraising efforts, the Friends groups have generously supported special events and performances at the library, and they have provided funds for various items within the building that add to the enjoyment of all who visit.
