Summer is almost upon us, and once again I am not ready — but I will be. I hope you all have an awesome Memorial Day weekend, but we won’t be here (except online) to help that project. The library will be closed on Sunday, May 29, and Monday, May 30, in honor of the holiday.
After that, we are speeding into June with lots of programs to help you make the most of your summer and your life.
Get ready for summer travels at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, with a Wired Wednesday session on using online maps, apps and GPS. Other sessions this month include Facebook Q&A on June 8, everything you need to know about e-books on June 15 and a session on tablets, smartphones and apps on June 29.
Other programs to help adults plan their summer include a plant swap at noon Saturday, June 4, our usual Saturday morning exercise sessions and a special roundup of local swimming and aquaerobics classes for Seniors.
Next week we’ll discuss what the book clubs are up to and our Summer Reading Programs for all ages!
